Ordering a Transport

At 3xwilhelmsen.dk transport we have made it easy for you as a customer to book your next  transport.

  • You can order via our website. You can also calculate the price of your next transport via our price calculator

  • You can send a messenger message to our booking system, and we will arrange to book your transport.
  • You can also reach our customer service directly on the chat on the right side of your screen.
  • Your trip can be followed via our track and trace

General information about ordering on our website.

We make every effort to respond to orders within 4 hours which is our our service goal. At peak times, it may take longer before you hear from us.

Your transport is not finally booked before you have heard from us.

Once we have approved your booking in our system, you will receive an order confirmation on email and we will also send you a text message.

*** We can not be held reliable to errors on our price calculator. Therefore, always assume the price we send you in your order confirmation is the correct one.

General information about pickup and delivery times

On your order confirmation from 3xwilhelmsen.dk there are both date and time when we expect to arrive at your address.

Our times are always in 2 hour intervals and we always try to get within these limits.

Unfortunately, the schedule can sometimes slide  for example, in case of major accidents or bad weather conditions.

You will be notified automatically if our schedule is significantly different from the information we gave you. It will be sent to the customers number in the order confirmation and therefore you do not have to be home and wait for us before our delivery system has sent you a text message.

If there are significant changes from your side of the transport, you can also reply back to the text message and we’ll see if we can move your trip sooner or later on the trip.

How do i pay for my order?

In all 3xwilhelmsens Vans you can pay with Cash or Mobile pay.

You can also choose to pay online when your order is completed. 

Companies with a Danish Vat number can choose to get an invoice. This will be sent via Email the day after the order is completed .

If the order is outside the Danish borders you can pay in Euro for your trip. We also accept online payment.

If you need to transport goods outside Europe we require cash up front .

When will i receive my goods ?

When you order a transport via 3xWilhelmsen.dk we will provide you with a date and time for pickup and for delivery . We work in time intervals within 2 hours .

½hours before your goods arrive we will sent you a automated text message .  After this you can track your driver and see the van down to street level . We will also provide you with an eta for arrival .

When we have picked up / delivered your goods  our system will send you another text, where you can rate your driver.

These reviews are used internally, so we can constantly follow our service goals.

What about insurance

Yes everything we transport is fully insured so you can have piece of mind

Every transport is insured up to 15.000 danish kroner.  If you wish to get the extended insurance , you can order that when you book your trip .

Pickup

When you need to get your goods picked up from 3xwilhelmsen there are a few things you should  be aware of:

  • We will always send a text message 30 minutes prior to arrival at your pickup location. On your confirmation from us, there is always an indicative time. However, changes may occur on the day,
  • If you have not ordered delivery assistance, the goods must be ready when the driver arrives.
  • If you have ordered help with delivery, we will help with one driver, and you have to provide the second hand to load the van
  • You can either choose to pay at pickup or delivery.
  • If you can’t be home on the pickup day, please indicate where the driver can pick up your goods. This may for example be in a shed or a garage / carport.
  • Your goods must be wrapped / packed unless otherwise agreed. Read More about how to pack your goods properly during transport under packaging
Delivery

When you need to get your goods delivered from 3xwilhelmsen there are a few things you should  be aware of:

  • We will always send a text message 30 minutes prior to arrival at your pickup location. On your confirmation from us, there is always an indicative time. However, changes may occur on the day,
  • If you have not ordered delivery assistance, the goods will be unloaded at your address in street level .
  • If you have ordered help with delivery, we will help with one driver, and you have to provide the second hand to upload the van
  • You can either choose to pay at pickup or delivery.
  • If you can’t be home on the Delivery please indicate where the driver can deliver your goods. This may for example be in a shed or a garage / carport.
  • Please check the goods for any damage upon arrival . We will also take photos at both ends of the trip
  • Sign for your delivery and enjoy your new purchase
Packing of your goods

Here we have put our best tips to wrap your items for transport

Couches:

  • Pack Couch cushions in clear bags, if possible
  • Dismantle the legs on your sofa and pack leg plus any screws or brackets in a bag with the name of the reviever
  • Package the couch in clear plastic. You can buy that in any hardware store and put a name on

Tvs and electronics plus appliances 

  • Television should as a rule be transported standing and in their original packaging.
  • If you do not have the original packaging, 3xwilhelmsen.dk has packaging for 40-inch and 60-inch TVs.
  • Television can also be transported to the original foot that came with the TV if you still have it.
  • Appliances such as Dishwashers, tumble dryers or washing machines must be dismounted before 3xwilhelmsen.dk transport arrives.
  • In addition, the above must be completely emptied of water
  • Stereo systems and similar can be packaged in boxes if this is possible. put a towel or bubble wrap in for extra protection

Transportation of Scooters, Motorcycles and Bicycles.

  • When transporting motorcycles and scooters, the tank must be completely emptied of gasoline.
  • If your motorcycle / scooter drips oil, this must be stated before we arrive. If not we will send the cleaning bill for you. 1000 kr including vat
  • Please pack up the registration certificate, keys and helmet in a moving box and clearly write the name of the recipient.
  • When transporting bicycles, 3xwilhelmsen.dk must have the key handed out, so that we can lock / unlock the bicycle if necessary

Removals

  • When you pack your items into a box, you must be able to carry the box yourself. As a starting point, a moving box must weigh between 15 and 20 kg, and can be carried by a man.
  • Boxes that contain books can only be packed halfway with books, the rest of the space can be used for eg clothes or the like.
  • Mirrors are not covered by our insurance, so mirrors must be wrapped in bubble wrap or cardboard before our removal team can take it.
  • Be sure to pack as much as possible in boxes, clothes and equipments can be packed in our wardrobe boxes, books in bookcases and other items can be packed in our normal boxes.
  • Plates and other fragile items must be wrapped in silk paper that you can get from us, and these boxes should be clearly labeled with caution.
  • Remove legs on sofas, dining tables and beds before we arrive, so it’s much easier.
  • When moving in areas where it is difficult to park, it may be advantageous to mark up so that our moving car can park close to the front door.
  • This can be done by parking your own car in front of the door or by putting a sign up so your neighbors know you will move.
  • Remember, our moving vehicles are 7.5 meters long and between 2.7 and 3 meters high, so if there are gates or similar at the address, we would like to know this before moving begins.

Moving abroad.

Use the above instructions and remember that all your goods are clearly marked so that our driver can load your stuff with other customers’ items.
